I’m incredibly proud to be a member of the Contact Energy Ltd team and whānau. Monday we announced our revamped and inclusive family leave policy, which is comprehensive and far-reaching. I think about my teams, some members of which are growing their families and will be directly affected by this – potentially in a life-changing way. It means a lot to me personally because with a new baby on the way, the change to this policy will give me the financial security and flexibility to spend more time with our baby and supporting my partner. And last but not least, policies like this help us show the true heart of our company, making us even more attractive to the talent we’re looking for at Contact.
